Meet Our New Interns at Cumorah Academy!

At Cumorah Academy, every semester brings fresh talent from around the globe. Our new interns, much like our students, bring unique skills and perspectives, enriching our community with their diverse backgrounds. Let’s introduce you to our seven remarkable interns!

Anya Gumenyuk

Originally from Ukraine, Anya is 19 years old and studying social psychology at the University of Bern. She teaches a conflict resolution class and delights in guiding her curious students toward becoming peacemakers, sharing practical tips to navigate conflicts effectively.

Felipe Echeverri

At 22 years old, Felipe comes from Medellin, Colombia, and studies marketing at Ensign College, Utah. He is very passionate about traveling and his goal is to travel all around Europe this Semester.  As our dedicated photographer, he enjoys collaborating with students. He teaches them camera and editing skills while capturing unforgettable moments that they can cherish forever.

Talia Machado

Talia, from São Paulo, Brazil, is a 25-year-old teaching Sales Bootcamp and personal development. She is passionate about helping students gain new perspectives on their careers and emphasizes that sales is more about understanding others’ desires than being pushy.

Gabriel Gaspar

Gabriel, a 23-year-old from Brazil, is studying applied business management at Ensign College. As an entrepreneur for five years, he loves teaching business at Cumorah Academy, supporting students as they turn their ideas into successful ventures.

Ellie Vasas

At 21, Ellie comes from Pocatello, Idaho, and studies English education at BYU Idaho. She teaches English at Cumorah Academy and enjoys connecting with students from diverse backgrounds and watching their growth throughout the semester.

Kristina Hoferer

Kristina, a 22-year-old from Lacey, Washington, recently graduated with a BA in Education from BYU Hawaii. Now an intern teaching English focused on Cambridge exam preparation, she values the opportunity to work with international students, especially Spanish speakers, drawing from her own experiences teaching in Japan and Hawaii.

Rubi Osccorima

Our new Content Creation Intern, Rubi, is 29 years old. She is originally from Peru but raised in Spain, and has lived in Utah for over six years. Studying Public Relations and Strategic Communications at Utah Valley University, she is excited to help share Cumorah Academy’s message and invite others to experience life-changing opportunities here.
